>>90719911it's easy to get caught up in the hysteria since any girl graduating from Holo is a likable, respected member of vtubing community (there's no Zaion/Selen situation where your own main "fanbase" is majority of your hates), so it's easier for people to get righteously angry on their behalf, but looking at the greater picture the promotion and accomplishments of the girls, the quality of their models, music releases and performances, the status of the company - all seem progressing in a relatively healthy direction, with a lot of more toxic notions from investors like reducing talent compensation being fiercely rejected
there are decisions that can be seen as questionable/shortsighted, like DEV_IS confused introduction, but Cover generally had a good run based on the policy "stumble into success, consciously avoid failure", which is why their innovative ideas tend to flop, they improve on iterations and they treat their baseline (the girls) pretty well
