>>9122537Just put on some music and do idk gesture drawings mindlessly. Don't force yourself to produce but you can stay sharp by doing those kind of mindless exercises until you get out of your artist block
If it's too much of a pain to do that too then take a break of like one week or something. Recharge, do something else you want, watch movies, play vidya, read a book, idk. Watch art videos to see where you wanna go next. Observe the world and better artists to pick up more references. Go to the park and take photos for free stock pictures for your background. Sort your materials, pencils, work station, etc.
You don't have to burnout yourself, but you are right that if your break is too long you'll rust. Even if you don't have a pen in hand you can still progress in your art journey.
