You just answered your own question. But yeah, moe-like vtubers in asian circles are more appreciated than in the west. I mean not too long ago people were bullied for even watching anime like a decade ago on the western hemisphere, now it's way more mainstream thanks to stuff like AOT but mostly shounen/seinen anime. There's moe anime that had its growth but gets way more criticism for just being cute girls doing cute things. See: dragon maid, uzaki-chan. Asia embraces moe, the West does not.

Since roughly 2018-2020, Everything moe has been culturally appropriated by troons. I used to love CGDCT, moe, /c/, etc but I've slowly become disgusted over time due from seeing the mental illness it produced, and now I just assume that me and my peers have been consuming poison all along. It narrows my vtuber pool down quite a bit. Gigi is my oshi currently.
