He is first and foremost a grifter which means he will do anything that gets him clout and money. That's it, period, the only motivation for anything he does. It's why he leeched off of Enna, it's why he left the corp the moment they imploded (he even outright said niji was just a "stepping stone" for his "career"), it's why he immediately went back to fleshtubing after realizing his "going indie" gamble failed (probably expected to be poached by vshojo lmao). And it's why he started dramabaiting with "former Niji" bait stories so hard it comes close to breaking NDA.
The reason why he inserted himself into the Aster drama is once again just so people pay attention to him. It has nothing to do with wanting to look like a good person and the fact that he incidentally did something "good" by giving further credibility to the accusations doesn't mean he had good intentions.
