In Hololive, it's clear the idol heavy elements have won, and there's nothing the streamers can do to reverse that; not because someone is a villian, but because investors want 50,000 people buying merch at an event, not $10 donos that are only acceptable for people with basically no overhead.

People are now understanding that the early years of Hololive are never coming back; everything from now on is going to be very sanitized, by girls chosen by people who know they can be good idols.

Sure, it isn't bad really, but it's not gonna be interesting either...

A lot of the girls pushed for that so it's not like this is a completely corporate decision. It sucks for those who didn't apply to hololive to do idol shit (which is really funny if you think about it) but even those who started more as a streamer first were able to transition their content to a mix of both. Unfortunately not everyone is able to do it (as we're likely seeing with Fauna) but that doesn't mean the group is dead or that Cover is a black company but it's easier to explain nuance to a fucking ant than to dramaniggers.
