>>91278709I mean, the problem is expecting this community to act like adults. There are plenty of issues with Hololive that should be looked into, but most of them are just the growing pains of a company expanding too fast while trying to support international branches at the same time. A lot of the problems boil down to things like "my manager doesn't pay me enough attention because he is busy with someone else", and that kind of stuff isn’t dramatic enough to keep the attention span of the average zoomer
That's why things like Fauna's graduation turned into such a shitstorm, because the audience either doesn't pay attention or just doesn't care about all the red flags, so they thought it came out of nowhere and that the world was ending. Then a couple of days later, they stopped caring because there was no real drama: it was just a culmination of boring and small issues
In comparison, you have Nijisanji: harassment, bullying, favoritism, mismanagement, terminations, suicide attempts, talents being groomed by schizos, talents unironically backstabbing talents, ex-talents sharing horror stories about the company, unpaid labor, debts, tax issues, accusations of sexual harassment, the black frame stream, leaks... and people are just hooked on this stuff. And honestly? I don't blame them
