>>91319651AnyColor's livestream revenue being stagnant can't really be explained by some of its members streaming on Twitch, right?
Why mention livestream revenue? Because unlike merch where vtuber cuts are dependent on the type of merch, livestream/content cuts are hard stuck between 27.5% and 35% (after platform fees and company cut).
I know some of NijiJP members choose not to generate revenue via ads, memberships, and SCs, but that was more in the past and things have been changing. Rip Toya/Mito.
Maybe it's silly to do, but I wonder whether an estimate for vtuber remuneration can be done using Cover's numbers. Might do this during lunch, but it'll be something like:
1) Determine vtuber cut of livestream revenue: Livestream Rev * 35% = Vtuber cut of livestream rev
2) Determine non-livestream revenue for Cover Corp vtubers:
Performer remuneration per Cover Corp - Vtuber cut of livestream rev = non-livestream revenue vtubter cut
3) Determine % of remuneration is from non-livestream sources:
Non-livestream revenue vtubter cut/Performer remuneration = % of remuneration is from non-livestream sources
4) Estimate AnyColor vtuber remuneration:
Vtuber cut of livestream rev/(1-% of remuneration is from non-livestream sources) = Estimated vtuber remuneration.
Since the company have different revenue/cost of sales amounts, it might be a good idea to then divide remuneration (reported and estimated) by reported revenue/CoS/DVC just to get an idea of how costly the vtubers are.
Also, for step 4, it might be interesting to use the best rate and worst rate from Cover Corp just to get a "range" for AnyColor. Again might do this during lunch in 2hours.
