>>91361635That would be a very reasonable approach to ending this scandal, which means it is an approach Nijisanji absolutely will NOT take.
More than everything you said, you need to consider management's almost psychotic belief that "reputation" is a zero-sum game. Twisty damaged the company's reputation by revealing that they knew for months that Aster is a sex pest and chose to do nothing about it (because they were worried that revealing their knowledge that he's a sex pest would damage their reputation) - with that zero-sum mindset, the only way they can restore their own reputation would be to damage Twisty's reputation, and letting her have a proper graduation on nominally "good" terms would not be a sufficient punishment for her damaging their reputation. In their minds, the only way they can restore their own reputation would be to fire Twisty, slander her in the termination notice, and volun-tell a few livers to slander her on stream.
They've already proven that they are more interested in protecting their own reputation than they are in protecting the livers from internal harassment, and this leak is just more proof of this. They will fire her for this leak, and in their minds it will be the westerners who are wrong to disapprove of their actions.
If Twisty isn't the only leaker, then she won't be the only one who will be fired. If the rrats about Finana and/or Scarle being leakers are true, then Finana and/or Scarle will get fired alongside Twisty.
