honestly the ice area is the only one i even knew was a thing without later looking at a guide
i kinda like the ice area, i liked the feeling of exploration and beautiful sights especially after turning off the snow, i also didnt know the snowy blank area was a thing without later looking at a guide and that's the most hated and controversial part of DS2 apparently, so it helped that i didnt know that was a thing at first
i dont like how it doesnt explain though, i forget what it is but the enemies at the end drop a thing and you have to collect FIFTY of those to give to the girl so she sells you things idk; i already spent a lot of time grinding there because the souls are great and i used the symbol of avarice too, and i only had like maybe 14 by the end of it
i didnt like the area with the crazy blue smelter demon and all the enemies that lock your movement, or the ashy reviving bad guys, or the boring aesthetics of the crypt in the other ones
