That's just public traded companies for you. Sooner or later the shareholders take priority over the staff, the product or the customers. If they don't, they will fire the leadership and put in someone who does it.

Probably one of the reason why Cover avoid the "When will your company enter Prime market" question until at least HoloEarth officially launches. By going Prime, investors are no longer just harmless outsiders. Either you feed them, or they bankrupt you and bully you into delisting, which will taint the company's profile forever
