>>91645845I think that's a good point, how vtuber has kinda expanded to mean more than the culture it became for some. I know people bait about it, but that divide between the more Japanese approach and the growing western craziness (if you can even call it that, since there have been Japanese vtubers who broke that mold years ago too) means there's always gonna be some pushback on stuff like skits.
My complaint with them was that while it was cool to get a lot of lesser known or different vtubers out there, they could be punched up for next year. Two musical bits would be great, but any more and it loses that special effect that it could have for people.
