What the fuck, why? Does it have something to do with a bunch of her older stuff getting deleted en masse? Her content seems pretty wholesome, I can't imagine yt having problems with it, especially with some of the other stuff on that site marketed towards kids.

There’s no clear answer but around that time some of her fans were complaining about a change of content and the games she both started and stopped playing. Cookie is a horror fan and randomly started playing horror games aimed at young teens. This was just before she became a vtuber. As far as I know, not a single video of hers since becoming a vtuber in 2022 has made its way onto youtube kids for comments and likes are enabled on everything. She’s just a normal youtuber now that uses a ridiculously hot and well rigged vtuber avatar.

Actually kind of makes sense in a way, slowly maturing her content to match the tastes of the audience she cultivated as they grow up. From what I've watched of her, the horror stuff is my favorite, especially what she's put up on her sub channel, so I'm glad she decided to make that pivot.
