Council lost Sana though, and now it's losing Fauna, and nobody knows what's going on with Mumei. That means Promise might realistically lose half its members, because Fauna leaving means Mumei also has less reason to stay, because Promise as a whole has lost leverage against intact gens like Justice, Advent and arguably even Myth.
Kronii and Bae can't really afford that: Kronii still has ongoing projects with Hololive, Bae outright lives in Japan, and neither have the kind of popularity Mumei did at her height; and if Mumei leaves, then Cover might just write Promise off as a practical matter, leaving Kronii and Bae dead in the water.
So basically, Bae and Kronii have a vested interest in trying to make Fauna look like she's making a terrible mistake, because if Fauna makes leaving look like a good idea, next year might be Council's last.
