>>91837998>To the people doomposting about Gura graduating, I've got a simple question for you: What would she gain from quitting hololive? Does she really strike you as someone who loves streaming enough to go indie?I'm talking entirely out of my ass, so keep that in mind anon.
The only reason I could see her graduate and give up her current, highly convenient position is the following rrat:
Guar was/is the poster child of VTubing. She genuinely and truly cared about it as a concept and made promoting it her personal mission. With the original success, cover promoting herand the normal snowball effect something like this causes, she was under a lot of pressure, a pressure she couldn't ignore because she cared so much about VTubing and would feel like she'd let it down if she took it easy.
She gave it her all, but has very bad coping habits when it comes to stuff like this and thus it broke her, like a burnout but more severe because you feel like an entire industry rests on your shoulders.
She's trying to process that time and fix herself, still streaming because part of her thinks she has a role to fulfill and part of her wants those initial happy times back.
Leaving cover and her old persona might not make financial sense, but it could allow her to finally emotionally move on and put an end to that chapter of her life. Sometimes, having peace is worth more than money.
Keep in mind I made this rrat entirely up, I'm not even a chumbud, but that's the rrat, fresh off the presses.
