Firing Aster for being a sex pest, regardless of when they actually do it, would mean having to publicly admit that they knew for months but chose "willful inaction" as their method of handling his actions, and only chose to fire him NOW because a whistleblower told the world that they could have fired him earlier but didn't.
They won't fire Aster for being a sex pest, and for the exact same reason they won't fire Luca for breaching NDA: firing them for those infractions now would mean having to admit that they knew about those infractions months ago and chose not to punish them when they first found out.

You are right about one thing: they WILL "resolve" this incident in a not-smart manner. It's just not gonna be something as mildly stupid as firing Aster right before Christmas or right after Fauna's graduation.
The baseline of "stupid" I'm expecting from them is to fire Twisty right before Christmas, and then run a black screen over her first scheduled stream once she returns to PL streaming; and it will feature Aster, if he's still in Niji at that point in time. Whatever they do, it will not be less stupid than that.
