>>91961849it's always a weird feeling when you see a 2view blow up. it feels like more often than not the things they stream and the way they act completely changes. it'd be one thing if it was simply gaining confidence or being more willing to do more adventurous stuff, but more often than not it feels like they fall into a numbers-based algo trap. they stop playing games they like because it doesn't get enough viewers, they start doing more and more ASMR streams because that's what the donators want more of, stuff like that. I think the most damning one is when I see girls that had no issues with male collabs before start acting like it's a big no-no all of the sudden or any other number of things that would hurt the GFE-pandering illusion. I know it's absurd to complain about vtubers feeling fake but it's hard to ignore when you see the transition happen in real time as they get larger, and any time you complain about it you're liable to get written off as a butthurt groomer or a crab in a bucket.
