They got an entire week of 3D anniversary streams along with multiple 3D outfits when some of the older talents couldn't get a 3D live that entire year. The idol business model is heavily based on pushing the new gens to gradually replace the older gens. That shouldn't be needed with vtubers but Hololive does put most of their marketing behind the latest gens. They can't replace Gura but they can encourage some of her viewers to switch over to Biboo.
