I'll back that with two examples
1) Hal created NeoPorte in more or less these exact same molds: paired with Reid, with both being the highest performing indie male vtubers of their time and create merise (turned Neo-Porte) with that exact goal.
They failed miserably, even more so in terms of male vtubers with their every new gen being even worse than the previous culminating in a legit 2 views gen.
2) Tamaki created NoriPro in more or less those exact molds, being one of the highest ranked female indies and knee deep into every existing box in the vtuber world.
Not only she failed miserably but she ended up with a rebellious gen, had to pretty much disband and start over hurting her stand in the vtuber world.
Running a vtuber company is hard, doing so from the position of being a chuuba that got scammed when in a corpo and then scammed again when becoming an indie would be even less likely
