I think it will be a good thing for the vtubers themselves, even if it makes numberfagging harder. I feel like a lot of times when someone stops streaming 90% of the audience just fucks off and whoever else in the company that is streaming gets like....400-1k of that audience only. If you could get like 30% of the people dumped into someone else's stream to stay it help them have better average numbers, more VOD views, and more exposure for smaller members. Of course it could also be embarrassing if Pekora or Marine sends everyone to Mel or Akis channel and then they all immediately leave anyway.

Twitch has a feature that actually does it for you, voluntary "raiding" (i.e. normal stream migration + being annoying about it) isn't special in that regard, it's the ability to move 100% of your audience instantly to someone else.

This will only work for HoloLive IF they schedule themselves right after someone else but we know a lot of them stream at the same time and even end at almost the same time. This can only work in a gen like how HoloFantasy give space for each other or how HoloCouncil is doing now, Myth can't do this because they stream so far apart of each other. You don't want to bring a raid to a JP Senpai if you're the EN Kouhai as well because you will look disruptive.

Imagine if during HoloEN Gen1, that Cover could move all the people from each outfit stream to each VTuber without being forced to lose them each stream. Like moving Gura’s 194k viewers after her outfit stream for example.

I can see this happening for certain events. I agree. They do this manually already. Many would set up a 1hr stream right before a main event and then tell people to watch the chuuba right before they end the stream. Gura can do this for Irys since they are the only ones that really intersect. HoloCouncil can do this regularly since most of their streams are really close with each other

I like Sana, but this is an insane prediction for a SC announcement stream. Fauna only got $17k because she wasn't reading SCs in her stream, she would've gotten more if she did.
Sana has never even gotten more than 17k viewers since her debut, she's not beating $17k for her first SC stream. She's more likely to not do a special SC stream like Ina and just stream a normal game than make more than $17k.
Only possibly I can see happening is her monetization gets signficantly delayed because she's lagging behind all the others in subs and people feel bad so they SC more than expected.

Unlike US and China, Korea does not willingly accept japanese culture. In fact things that tend to be popular in one country tend to get debuffed in the other.
This is why Overwatch was stupidly popular in Korea and yet ignored and basically dead in Japan. Then later Apex become wildly successful in Japan yet competitively dead in Korea.
This is the reason why HoloEN is more popular than HoloJP in Korea. There's way less friction accepting something popular from America than from Japan.

Japanese and Japanese-adjacent content is inherently going to be debuffed for a native Korean audience, while HoloEN being the equivalent of western/American product with the potential for future members (or even current, in Kronii's case) to fill that Korean niche and demand without the same kind of baggage that Japanese/half-Japanese/Japanese-fluent Vtubers is a significant advantage to potentially capturing that audience.

It's a really interesting dynamic and I wonder if there's actually anything to mine there or if even with that factored in, the KR audience simply isn't substantial enough for it to matter. But imagine if you were the HoloEN who could break into and basically monopolize the Korean Vtuber market.

Yeah I think Sana will be the lowest EN 2, I don't think there's been enough time for her to cultivate enough viewers to donate a lot to her nor has her content gotten much attention. Subs usually doesn't translate to how much supahs one can get but in this case I would say the girls haven't quite cultivated a unique and loyal fanbase yet, so Mumei will be in between Kronii and Fauna.

Now the question id be more curious is, do you guys think Sana will do better than Kiara's record? People here in /vt/ are hyping her up but we all know that doesn't really translate to the general audience, Baelz is literally an example of one everyone thought would be the best performing one and now she's 4th and her views have been going low besides the Minecraft one.
