I don't think she sold them she just did it on stream but you are right. most of the big /lig/gers are corpotubers who belong to mythic, vshojo, or 3AM
these corpos are a lot looser than traditional corpos but then again twitchtubers in general are a lot looser with kayfabe and restrictions than youtube corpos anyways
fillian, saruei, and hoejosama all have massive off-site whore accounts and they do pretty well

it's weird to put them together since Vallure has only been around for 6 months. They're doing well so far but other small corps usually implode or have a major yab after the first year (idol, Kawaii).

Idol and kawaii never turned a profit. Vallure is already in the black. Aviel made no money until he sold to brave. Same with the kawaii ceo when he sold them to that media company. Also there are no other non-brave corpos to put vallure with.They and Phase are the only ones left from this scene. Everyone else is microcorpos or brave or ex-corpos

Turns out if you structure things like a functioning business, it will survive as a business when things gets tougher. I think it's too early to call the shots on Vallure staying around but they are on the path of getting there. Phase definitively has proven themselves viable. The main worry is really Brave because they are operating on VC money and spending money like it's no one's business and that money eventually wants a return. and I'm not sure if they have hit that. The one financial report they put out was grim, but they did manage more funding rounds this year.

She has a vested interest in saying things are fine and a lot of stable Vtuber corps with CEOs saying the same thing has fallen apart. I need to see them at least reach the first year to even start believing it and that's only the start. Hitting the 3rd year mark would prove it 99% to me because most of the small corpos have not made it past that point and survived. Only Phase did and is still standing. kawaii technically did but folded because they bled out slowly after the Gen 3 walkout.

She got that money from paypigs. I find it unlikely that she would lie or fake donations to herself. Things could fall apart as a result of group dynamics and social conflicts but I believe her when she says they are profitable. The circumstances and donations the girls get back that up. Some of her other girls even pull more money than she does.

I'm not saying I disbelieve her, it's probably true and the surrounding circumstances as you say with the corpo in general do back that up. But she does have her biases and you need to be in the black over a longer term period for things to actually be sustainable. I just need to see it play out in execution. Mainly, her costs haven't been great outside of needing to fund things initially leading up to debut. If she stays at this size and takes things slow, no reason to think they shouldn't be around for quite a while and make it. The main issue with small corpos is needing to rush or having investors demand money before you made it.

Are they, though? I only hear about Phase here and occasionally see them on the YT feed even if I click don't recommend. But as far as I see it, they are in their stagnant state.
I only hear about Vallure /here/, and even then, it's rare. All of this could just be me, though, I guess.

Realistically was that they didn't try to mass expand to survive the market and instead just stayed in their lane.

Lots of the competition tried to push advantage when they saw a single rise of success, this isn't the smart move in this industry it seems. Its a marathon, the others fell for the mistakes of the old streamer orgs.

Also slight rrat a lot of rich kids were actually early players in lots of small orgs, just stuff I've head through the grapevine that I can't really prove. But like a lot of these were opened by people with little to no life experience so I wasn't surprised.

Technically as far as we’re aware, phase is just because a coffee guy wanted to make a vtuber organization, and it just so happened to work because he didn’t need venture capital. I think that’s where the industry is headed: people who have the money already and don’t need investors starting up orgs; or small, low cost orgs that don’t need VC. Venture capital seems like the biggest mistake to make, even if it does large-scale work out sometimes like with Holo
