I'm a manager at a fortune 500 company. I know fuck all about the entertainment industry and don't have a creative bone in my body. Near every time I hear anyone talk about management at a vtuber corpo (100% of the time at indie companies and like 90% of the time at Holo or Niji), it just makes me think about how incompetent they are and how I, with minimal training, could probably do at least a comparable job in the short term and likely better in the long term just because I feel like 80% of the job as a manager is talking to your employees, making sure they're happy, and doing what you can to make or keep them happy/doing their actual job instead of burdening them with ransom bullshit.
