Same, sort of. It's not only vtubers, but YouTube has taken over TV and anime as my methods of entertainment. Being on demand really makes a world of difference. I still go to the movies ocassionally but that's just because I like their popcorn and the kinoplex is next to my workplace.

I've done the opposite and gone back to anime. Will be playing vidya and learning to code post-backlog too.

Deplatforming is sure to gatekeep or drive away anyone I'd still enjoy now that I got my fill of cute girls doing cute things, and learning nip as a man is pointless since I'm not independently wealthy.

My time is too valuable to waste it on more of the same or pointless/joyless endeavors, and as far as I can tell that's all streaming has to offer now that I'm not planning to get into it myself. As much as I love a good shitpoat here and there, unironically watching streamers is for women.
