like, in a normal scenario, corps retaining control of the ips makes some sense since they foot the bill to have it made. imagine if cover worked like this and she had joined hololive as LL. then when she decided she wanted out they were just like, yoink! this is ours now. we aren't even gonna do anything with it, we're just taking it punitively to be assholes. there would be nonstop outrage on this board and yet when phase does it, nothing. I guess it pays to have your talents cozy up with dramatubers.
