>>92417557>is VTA even still around?Technically, yes.
That vtuber group has no active members, but it still nominally exists.
>>92419688>the stealth merge of NijiEN into the jap marketThat started on or before June 12, when they merged the bar graphs. EN has been relegated to the mandatory financial disclosures page alongside ID and KR; as far as The Investors™ are concerned, Niji EN no longer exists.
As far as the "official" merger announcement is concerned, I don't expect the announcement to happen before Jan 13, unless it happens specifically at Dec 30 at 1530 JST. My reasoning is simple:
>Dec 30 - last trading day of the month and the year; the following four days are market holidays, and the two days after that are the weekend>weekend of Jan 3-5 - 3D debut of either Ren or Aia>weekend of Jan 10-12 - 3D debut of either Aia or Ren>Jan 13 - the first Monday after all of Iluna's 3D debuts (except Aster)And that's why I don't expect a merger announcement or Aster's fate to be published before Jan 13. Twisty's termination might happen before then, but it's unlikely since her fate is tied to his, and they probably don't want to reignite the boycott right before what could be the two most lucrative streams of the quarter. Aster is currently scheduled to return on Jan 30, and Q3 ends on Jan 31; so there's a small but non-zero chance they'll keep Twisty in limbo at least that long.
Incidentally, there's 6 weeks (including 5 weekends) between the end of the four Iluna 3D debuts and the start of Nijifes. If they plan on publishing the Xsoleil 3D debuts before Fes, they'll do it on the weekends of Feb 1/8/15; and possibly a fourth one on the weekend of Jan 25, if for some reason Kotoka does not graduate before Fes.
If they DON'T do Xsoleil 3D before Nijiefes, they'll either do it in March or not at all. The fiscal year ends April 30, and Niji EN will almost certainly officially cease to exist before then.
