>>92417259>Having one person to be the contact for the creative work and a different one for project management and a separate one for billing and invoices is standard (in my area of work at very least). It sounds like to do a business to business transaction like this, with entire teams of administrative overhead, the creators should incorporate and have billing and legal matters persons on retainer. Which makes some sense, big business exist on a different planet to individuals buying and commissioning things or a very small business where the "CEO" also works, like a plumbing firm. Therefore, these small creators shouldn't be available for projects or talents to even try to negotiate a price with, because Cover cannot properly work with their lack of project management and six sigma processes and accreditations.
tl;dr, Cover deserves to get a slap on the wrist for mandating fax machine in triplicate communication and year long project lifecycles but trying to do it with Jane Doe cat groomer on twitter who moonlights as as a hentai artist once a month.
And any project managers whose projects caused Cover to violate the Subcontractor Act deserve an unceremonious sacking for not managing the project correctly.
