>>92421765Pillow's ASMR is mid. Yes, I listened to hers and do listen to a bunch of others, including Fauna. Pillow's range is small. She doesn't have a good sense of aural stimuli attenuation so her triggers tend to feel unsatisfying. Her kisses are disappointing, they're literally just clicks, which is a hallmark of an entry level ASMRtist. She even goes "mwah" cause she doesn't know how to draw out and deepen her kisses to sound more realistic.
Her ear blowing is mid too, and she doesn't do it too often, but it's one of her best skills if you compare it to the rest of her set. Her technical setup is amateurish. She doesn't have an isolated room, so not only does her voice echo(bad for ASMR where the illusion is that sound is happening right next to your ear) but you can also hear her computer and other random background noises. Some of that is due to her living conditions and can't be helped, but it's still a mark against her. Her real voice, which she doesn't want to use, has mode body to it and triggers more frequencies than the wispy high pitched timbre she pulls. Compared to a lot of other ASMRists, the way she makes herself sound is 'empty'. If she could make her mouth triggers sound good with that high voice it wouldn't be a problem, but she can't really.
Fauna is consistent with her trigger work and pretty good - not the best, but good - at earblowing. Her clear annunciation also helps her with her whispering and making syllables pop. That's why her voice, even though she also makes herself sound high pitched, doesn't detract form the experience.
What Pillow is good at is pretending to like (you), which seems to be enough for quite a few people to ignore her many skill based shortcomings.
