>>92478065I haven't worked with them, but when I used to go to therapy (major depressive disorder) I met both types. Neither is fun to be around, but bipolar is substantially better in my opinion. Their depressive episodes are both easy to spot and easy to navigate around (though I am probably biased when it comes to that because I could empathize) and the manic phases are not that difficult to understand, even if they are a pain in the ass.
Borderline people meanwhile remain an enigma to me, they blow up over the most insignificant shit sometimes while other times they don't care at all. Dealing with severely borderline people feels like handling a bomb, ready to blow up anytime, except the bomb won't show you that the fuse has been lit until it's too late.
Bipolar people are only really dangerous around their manic phases and even then it's easier to play into it.
In the end neither is fun to be around though, be it as colleagues friends or family.
