Sometimes being more "real" isn't good when they are doing drama stuff like talking about EvaXephon or Chris Chan. It is cool to be more relaxed without the overhead, but I don't want to hear gossiping/whining/or bitchiness towards other people. If they are frustrated with a game that's fine, but I don't want to hear such drama.
Obviously it isn't all indies that are like that, but you're constantly sifting for the gold flakes in the sand.
They also seem to be more eager to drop games as well compared to corpos. Not saying corpos don't drop games, but others don't have an incentive to stick with many.
