>>92608056I'll readily admit I'm new and unfamiliar with the local culture. If that's my cross to bear, fine.
This is tough. On the one hand, there are interpretations of Fauna's words that would make your analysis of Bae fair. I don't think they can be disproven, but I also don't think they're supported from what I've read, including the few excerpts from Shondo I've seen. Not to defend Cover because they've made some absolutely shit decisions and hired awful managers in the past so it's not entirely out of character, but "disagreements with management" can mean anything.
It could be as simple as company reorientation, which I think would leave my analysis of Bae as fair. It could be Cover hired absolute incompetent pricks to manage their talents, which would make your analysis of Bae fair.
I guess my final note is that I'm not quite sure I see her asking to keep speculation at bay as overly problematic, even in this context. I mean, people (myself included for a while) were speculating that Cover was facing a mass exodus or had hired a ton of sexpest middle-aged men to manage women in their early 20s-early 30s. Until Cover or Bae proves themselves malignant, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
There's a reason despite Kronii's words being similar to Bae's, I didn't afford her the same benefit of the doubt.
