There have been multiple instances of Fauna trying to talk to Kronii and either receiving some vague noise in response or getting ignored entirely.
Kronii isn't even particularly reclusive like Shiori to explain it and was clearly on good terms with Fauna before.
Things get weirder when Mumei, who is decently close to Fauna, is also hanging out with Kronii.
