>>92877433>>92879454>>92879994There are a lot of reasons honestly. First off, Hololive is a Japanese company based in Japan that makes content in a Japanese medium popularized by Japanese content creators. Vutbing is just more popular in Japan, and being a JP vtuber has more oppurtunity for success and fame than in the West.
Following that, the Jp girls living in Japan literally 30 minutes from the studio naturally have a lot more of a connection and impetus to work closely with the company and other members to reap whatever benefirs that could allow them.
Following that, EN simply does not have any members who are as good or succesful as JP does. Not to say EN doesn't have some wonderful girls, but they just dont have a Miko or Suisei or even Korone to generate interest in these high level events. And needless to say, not only does the company provide more moeny/funding to them, but the individuat talents, especially someone like Miko are making a shit tone more money for these sorts of events.
And again, because vtubing is just simply more popular in Japan, the girls get more sponsorship and advertisement oppurtunities, in this case fucking Coca Cola, I giant multi-national corporation.
The JPs all also have the luxury of living in the same city and being able to get to know each other in real life in person which changes the relationships dynamics alot.
So basically the JP girls just have signicantly better cirscumstances, higher amounts of fans and viewership and general interest, more impetus to do big events, and more oppurtunities to do them and have them be worth it.
And again, this is nothing against the EN girls, its just the fact, and why some EN girls are moving Japan for the oppunities and some are choosing to leave the company entirely.
