She still ended up sleeping like a rock right after that until 5pm, so she woke up not that long ago.
Also she already had her first dream of the year too: She was in someone's live concert (she's not sure who) and it was great, it made her want to do another sololive. Chat tells her she shouldn't tell others about her first dream, you'll get terrible luck if you do! So she just asks us to forget about it and pretend it didn't happen...

>Koyori MCKoyori is pretty good at being an MC, she knows the right timings on when to talk and when to let the others do it, so following up on her were easy thanks to that. Okayu told her about it and thanked her, Koyori was a bit embarassed and it was very cute.
>Zeta and OkayuOkayu had lots interactions with Kanade and Kiara but she unfortunately never got that many occasions to speak with Zeta yet, in fact, this New Years event was the first time she ever saw and talked to her, and she had no idea Zeta could actually speak japanese!
Okayu received Anmitsu desserts as a gift and asked Zeta if she ever tried that. Zeta told her that she never tried any of it so Okayu decided to share some with her, taking her time to explain what each part of the dessert were made of.
As a dessert, Anmitsu is quite unusual for most people overseas since it's partly made of red beans and red algae, so she was a bit worried that Zeta wouldn't like it. Thankfully she ended up liking it a lot which made Okayu very happy, the two of them got to chat while eating a nice dessert together.
>Pocket moneyWhen Okayu was still a child, she used to receive pocket money for New Year's from the adults and collect the cute envelopes that came with it. She always wanted to be able to give pocket money to kids.
Also talking about kids: Flower Lady onee-san just gave birth very recently!!
Since he's still just a little baby he's a still a bit young for pocket money and she didn't even get a chance to see him yet, so she needs to wait for that.
>FubunyanThe other day, she went shopping with Fubuki and the two of them would sometimes find some small vtuber corners in stores. Some of these stores are on several floor and in one them, Okayu was teasing Fubuki by playing with her hair and poking her on the head.
At some point, Fubuki just turned around and told her in a very low voice

Okayu still thinks that despite how she's trying to make Fubuki her little sister, Fubuki has some genuine older sister qualities to her.

>>92654872), it was such a dumb joke but Okayu was absolutely in tears with how hard she laughed. And she wasn't even drunk!
The atmosphere there was amazing, she was with beloved friends, eating good food, laughing and talking about all kind of trivial things. They even did the countdown and synchronized jump at midnight together.
They played Daifugo after that, and it was tons of fun. She liked to roleplay depending on the role she got during the game (mostly to mess with Subaru).

For the cover she released today (Oni no Utage), she originally hesitated between releasing it during Christmas and New Years but went with New Years in the end because it's a very "japanese" song.
Okayu really likes reading comments under her covers and premiere, and there were apparently a few people that had no idea Okayu could sing! She's aware that she got the "That one very perverted cat" image in Hololive, so that's probably why. They generally seem to like it though so she's happy.
>Music and feelingsThere's of course a lot of musical theory that exists but for Okayu, a big part of music is also purely based on feelings.
She explains that a song can feel very different depending on the composer/singer's preferences, personalities and mood. In a way, making music is a way to "write down your current emotions" since they are always changing with time.
Okayu believes that being able to record her feelings in that way and show them to the world is a wonderful thing.
