Then it stopped. Noone knew why and most people truthfully didn't care either, it happens. Rather than going back to normal genmates though it seemed very distant, with them not doing much together unless unavoidable. Supposedly (I don't watch kronii enough to confirm) kronii avoids even mentioning faunas name most of the time.
This happened, but we don't know why and most people didn't really care either.
Unrelated to that Fauna announced her graduation recently. The stated reason is "disagreements with management" though neither her nor the company are willing to go into specifics. During the graduation lead up it's good manners and expected for most talents to give the graduating person a proper sendoff, unless they did something very bad. Most talents did just that, some more, some less (as is to be expected). Kronii did not, continuing her trend of avoiding/ignoring Fauna unless absolutely unavoidable. Fauna in the meantime seems to at least involve kronii in a professional sense, though how genuine that is vs how much is image management we can't know for sure, while Kronii does not. Add to that things that are unfortunate coincidences or malicious acts of scheming depending on who you ask like having a solo stream while her entire gen is doing a collab, vagueposting on her PL twitter or announcing that she's moving when Fauna's graduation is, and things look bad optically.
Some people take these as two unrelated facts, some people claim that the "issues with management" statement is just PR speak and kroniis beef with fauna is the real reason, some people people say it's because kronii and fauna had a steamy relationship that fell out of favor, some people just got reminded and care more about the falling out because it looks so bad with this graduation, in the end we don't know for sure.
All that seems pretty established is they used to be close, they are no longer close, whatever is responsible for that is still not resolved. Depending on who you ask kroniis inability (justified or not) to stand above the issue makes her look bad.
