Iirc it was because he/his wife were uncomfortable with it firstly and he felt the quality of the stream and content was better when he was able to banter unrestrained with men.
He got a lot of flak for it from seething women on xitter and it would have been far easier to relent so I don't think he secretly wished he could play with e-girl of the week or anything, I think he actually just wanted to game with his bro's as a content decision.
