in reality we know (actually it was evident the entire time) that like 80-90% of the attention luxiem got was from a female asian/SEA audience that already was existent from nijiJP (and kpop stans). they never actually were that successful in the west relatively speaking but sisters and holoantis in general wanted to push their narrative hard and hope you don't actually look too closely into the nuts and bolts of it.
