I think some hololive members are held back by the fact that their audience is and will pretty much always be mostly adult men and they have to stick with that. I think it's actually the case for some of them that they'd probably be happier and better off if they had been marketed to young girls instead. Like Gura would probably be much more active and happy if she had an audience of little girls who would play with dolls and plushies of her and want to sing along to her songs but instead she has to go about her day knowing her audience are mostly overweight adult men(sorry chumbuds, but you know this is true)
