Living in Japan isn't the issue. The real problem is that there are too many (currently 4) who would much rather pour their time and effort into the JP branch instead of trying to make EN better. They join in JP events over EN evebts, try to collab more with JP talents, and it makes the EN branch a lot weaker as a whole. Funnily enough I'm not talking about Mori here, she really does put in an effort to make EN work. I wouldn't have a problem with some cross-branch collaboration, but the 4 I'm thinking of in specific make it their goal to do more JP than EN and make little effort to help with EN projects.
