>>93203649You see, during the Gold Rush, Australians thought it'd be a good idea to travel to California to sell eucalyptus seeds to create an easy source of fuel in the form of wood. Loving the smell, everybody in California decided to buy some and plant their own trees, eventually forming nurseries and selling eucalyptus saplings as a side-business.
Unfortunately, it turns out that eucalyptus trees also constantly shit out extremely dry bark scraps from their outer layer. When enough of this bark sheds, holes begin to form where extremely flammable oil also gets squirted out everywhere, making the extremely dry bark scraps become natural napalm.
The aforementioned Australians unfortunately made bank on this business and left after California was saturated with these fire starters. Now they're an invasive species that create fires every week simply because a small spark can ignite the extremely dry bark scraps which can then fly on the wind to ignite other extremely dry bark scraps, which then get blown even farther to ignite oil-covered bark scraps, because California is essentially coated in natural flammable oil.
>tl;drFuck Australians.
