>>93698844there's a lot of bitter parties in this thread, including but not limited to:
- woozie/tomomi/mimsie fans who spammed the thread and got told off, but defended themselves with the "it's retro it belongs here" technicality
- yuno fans who spammed the thread and got told off, but defended themselves with the "it's retro it belongs here" technicality
- /asp/ies, /here/tubers, and other males who selfposted and got told off, but defended themselves with the "it's retro it belongs here" technicality
- /wasp/ies who selfposted and got told off, but defended themselves with the "it's retro it belongs here" technicality
- the old guards who saw the thread get raided, the op get butchered over and over, and jannies continuously siding with the raiders
ami's fans just go back to /tsunx/ and don't bother with /vrt/.
kiki's fans have always had their own thread and despite having spammed /vrt/ a lot in the past they don't really have much to gain or lose from /vrt/ being like this.
joru's, clauvio's, and other bigger twitchtuber fans just stay in /lig/ and not bother with this cesspit.
this leaves lumi in sort of an odd spot.
she doesn't belong in /lig/ she's not big enough for that.
she doesn't belong in /corpo/ she has always been indie.
she doesn't belong in /indie/ either because she's not jp, nor does she belong in /wvt/ because she's not western.
because of this, throughout all the tumultuous mess that /vrt/ has been, lumi fans have been the most invested ones, staying here the longest and doing their best to keep the thread sane, but it seems that that has become less and less true recently, with some admitting that they just don't come here anymore because of what the thread has become.
unfortunately jannies have shown time and time again that they will side with the technicality of the thread topic "any and all retro etc etc" regardless of intent, so spamming random twitch links has become a viable weapon that can be wielded from any side to spite all the others, and there's nothing you or i can do about it
in fact, i think this pattern of "you used this to mess up MY thread, let's see how you like it when i use it to mess yours" will continue to happen in 2025, 2026, 2027 and on
