Even back when she was streaming, "people" were still seething about her being number 1 and being a loli. It's just plain jealously from mostly tourists and nijisisters.
The recent seethe is particularly delicious as nijisisters and phasecucks have been spamming nonstop baits about her, but all the efforts were in vain as she is still popular as ever despite not streaming.

That's the reason why every new vtuber oshis either Kiara/calli (and back when ollie was actually relevant ollie too), despite everyone knowing who gura is, you basically never see any other vtuber mentioning her (outside of doing snide jokes to shit on her)

Has any other holo talent managed to completely avoid and ignore Holostars existence like Gura does? Cause if you only watched Gura you'd have no idea hololive even has a male branch that's how thoroughly she erases their presence. She does it as one of the faces of the company too and that makes it even more based.
