There are financial reasons for having strict contract terms and the Hololive business model depends heavily on their reputation. They aren't evil like Nijisanji but whether it's wedding merch or sleazy coombait merch they are constantly shilling merch to fans who oshi their anime waifu. I doubt that Yagoo even likes the unicorn side of the idol industry but he didn't hesitate to fire Rushia and would do the same with Mumei.
