Seriously though, even Yagoo outright admitted that Cover screwed up by growing to quickly, and that the corporation would need to adjust better going forward; so, Cover's management screwing up in the past isn't even a matter of debate, but a matter of public record.
And yes, that's not unusual. And no, past mistakes don't mean that Cover is
incapable of correcting course and doing better; in fact, it's usually the massive public embarrassments that help drive companies to do better.
But even so, the people who suspected that something was wrong with Cover's management were right.
