For some reason I find them easier to understand (if only a tad bit) because they're using more common words (simpler vocabulary) and speaks slower (usually) than the natives.
Bae, IRyS, Anya, Zeta... Fuwamoco might be quite hard since it's two people speaking in the same time. Not sure if they do a lot of talking streams, though.
Of course, if they're not your oshi (you don't enjoy their streams) then it's all useless. Why bother listening if you dislike their yapping?
Also, like the other anon said, if you're genuine then 'watching Vtubers' shouldn't be the only thing you're doing; they should be a catalyst/motivation for you to do your reps. Go find some textbooks online. I'd personally go for Minna no Nihongo.
