Well, not the pets specifically, but the whole having to travel to Japan for work multiple times a year, for multiple months at times. Besides pets there are many other things that would make a person homesick, and it's a simple understandable thing anyone can relate to, without knowing any of the inside workings of the big corps. Well, at least for Hololive EN in particular. The graduates are also post-3D, where, I assume, the studio workload increases drastically.
