Mumei explained in her stream that the production process for Breaking Dimensions was rushed, mistakes were made by the choreographer that couldn’t be fixed in time, and the MC segment idea they pitched got shot down and they didn’t have time to come up with a new idea. She would have scheduled the surgery a different week in order to go to NYC otherwise.

Their creative differences are being entitled, stupid bitches. Advent did just fine, the rest of Myth stepped up and Ina ate more shit than either Gura or Mumei ever did recently. Why though do you think Myth and Council kept having fights with management? Kiara has literally told viewers that Hololive changed their model design policy. Advent had creative input on their designs so of course they are on better terms with their employer.

Fauna didn't travel for Breaking Dimensions for the same reason she didn't travel for holofes last year:
She has something she can't be away from for very long and she couldn't bring it with her to Japan or New York. She hates traveling because she has to be away from this thing which she is responsible for.
It's most likely the reason she quit. Management wanted her to travel for events and she refused.

Actions speak louder than words. Mumei wouldn't be copying the Gura malicious compliance strategy of avoiding solo streams if everything was great. The situation is slightly better than some previous health breaks since Mumei is now willing to do regular collabs but she was clearly upset. Cover has caused 2 graduations with Council and it doesn't take a telepath to know how the rest of them feel. That doesn't mean there will be more Hololive graduations in 2025 but the walled garden is developing a lot of cracks.
