Only reason I believe she won't leave Hololive anytime soon is because she can't stream 4 months in the year which would utterly destroy her carreer as an indie.
Now she gets paid to do nothing and she needs the money to pay off those student loans because she's on year 5 of getting an undergraduate degree.

Only shitty "pay for degree" universities do that. Most of the decent universities only give you about 5-7 maximum to finish your degree, no matter how many time you change your major. There is one way to prolong your study years, which is to downgrade your degree a notch (ex: from Bachelor to College) but only stupid people do that.

In my state they start charging you extra and cut off and student aid if you accrue too many credit hours before getting your 4 year.

Does she need to pay the same amount for each semester she's enrolled? Or does she pay per class she takes? It doesn't seem like it's very expensive if she can just space the classes as much as she needs
