From my point of view, it isn't large corporations that are going to be a threat to most vtubers, it's the much smaller ones that pray on young and naive women who don't know any better. So many smaller corps in the last year alone have been discovered to be incompetent, thieving, and straight up demonic in how they treat their talents. Even with all their internal issues, Cover, Vshojo, Phase, etc are leagues better to be in than some shit hole like WACTOR or Idol.
