>>94160133You could be healthy, entertaining, good at games, and have a nice voice and still not "make it" because ultimately you're at the mercy of the algorithm and it doesn't care about talent or hard work. Never go in with the mindset of "making it," just stream for fun when you can and don't take it too seriously, if you're dedicated enough and at least kind of interesting you'll grow a core audience that you'll eventually make some pocket change off of through donations/superchats. Age doesn't really matter, older streamers have more life experience which means more interesting things to talk about, younger streamers are more relatable to younger people, so just figure out which group you resonate with more and stick to it.
Also for your own sake do not under any circumstances acknowledge this board unprompted while streaming, do not pigeonhole yourself into the /here/chuuba niche because it never ends well. You'll be dealing with the weirdest of weird fans and extremely schizo antis forever.
If you have some idea for a niche go with it, having a niche is good because it makes you stand out more and gives you a decent way to connect with fans of whatever it is you've built that niche on. Variety chuubas are a dime a dozen, but if you can worm your way into being THE chuuba for X game it'd be an easy platform to try to build on. I dunno who you are and most likely won't ever see your content, but good luck and have fun.
