Nimi never really intended to spark a broader anti-corpo movement, or even a targeted anti-holo movement. She just wanted to say her piece and be done with it, but cover corp's actions and the pent up frustration of the fans caused hololive community to burst into flames, and on top of that she unwittingly pioneered the business model for the "ex-holo indies".
