But it manifests in other ways, and the most convenient example is as you said: not watching her. Finana has had many a stumble throughout her career and if you look over her history, you'll come to realize that most of the things people hold over her head are not done out of malice. They're genuinely just her being stupid. It was easy to form an impression of Finana that she means well sometimes and can be a cute airhead gooner but gets outdone by her own retardedness sometimes. But that's just the thing: she had a pile of shit to hold against her that former fans once tolerated. When people finally started switching up on Niji EN en masse, the list of mistakes suddenly became a list of cardinal sins. People chose to recontextualize her idiocy as malice, most especially fans of Zaion/Sayu that were appalled at the notion this tiny empty-brained leech of a vtuber could backstab someone they liked. Shock turns to anger, and what was once love became vitriol. Outright hate, even.
As a former Niji EN watcher that was around since the early days, I know many of the things that Finana has been shit on for. While I agree that the hate is a bit excessive in my eyes, it is also partially the result of her actions. Just knowing about her private discord with valoguard is enough to make you think twice about giving her the benefit of the doubt. Anyone that continues to watch her is one of three things:
1. An old fan clinging on to what she could have been
2. a sister that is a fan of the corpo more than they are of the talents,
3. An ignorant fuckhead that has no idea of what she's actually done
